It is the highest distinction granted by the National Agri-food Council to organizations that raise the standards of the agri-food sector.

Companies and organizations from the agri-food sector, both national and international, of different sizes, engaged in agricultural, livestock, aquaculture, forestry, floriculture, agroforestry, agro‑industrial, and trade association activities, with operations in Mexico or abroad with Mexican capital.

Yes, a recovery fee is charged, which covers workshops, evaluation, and support throughout the process.

The process consists of four stages: introduction, document review, selection of finalists, and awards ceremony.

Management, quality, sustainability, innovation, and value-creation practices.
Who conducts the evaluation?
Trained evaluators and an Honorary Jury made up of leaders from the sector.

What do the finalist organizations receive?
A detailed evaluation report, evaluation visits, and a maturity certification in quality and processes.
What do the winning organizations receive?
The “Tonalli” Medal of the National Agri-food Award and the right to use the Award’s official logo.
