National Agri-food Award

What is the award?

It is the most prestigious award in the industry, granted by the National Agricultural Council, to recognize companies and organizations that drive competitiveness through the implementation of the highest standards in terms of quality, innovation, sustainable development and social responsibility.

Origin and purpose

Faced with the challenge of boosting the global competitiveness of Mexican companies, the agri‑food sector took on a key role.

The National Agri‑Food Award emerged as a call to promote better practices, strengthen organizations, and honor those who are raising the bar across the industry.

Agri-Food Model Quality

The Agri‑Food Quality Model (MAC) is the foundation that drives the evolution of the National Agri-food Award, It incorporates international best practices to help organizations assess, innovate, and strengthen their competitiveness in an ever‑changing environment.

Its approach combines a culture of quality, sustainability, innovation, collaboration, and capability building, enabling organizations to modernize their business model and generate lasting value.

The MAC evaluates four key pillars: People, Operations, Customers and Value Created, providing a clear path toward continuous improvement, leadership, and sustainability.

Developed by the Mexican Society for Total Quality and endorsed by industry leaders, the Model not only recognizes performance; it elevates it.
